Will Ferrell was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going into the big screen to play comedy films like 'Elf 'Anchorman,' and Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He started his comedy career as an actor in the improv troupe based in Los Angeles, the group known as the Groundlings.
